The acquisition combines expertise of vendor-agnostic fleet data with the Group's connected vehicle platform, taking the Group to more than 850,000 vehicle connections across Europe.
The Moving Intelligence Group has acquired TDS Ultra, the UK fleet data intelligence platform. The acquisition adds enterprise fleet data analysis to the Group's connected vehicle portfolio and significantly strengthens its position in the UK market.
With TDS Ultra, the Group expands its connected fleet platform Echoes with software that analyses vehicle data from any telematics provider. Echoes already connects directly to any OEM, giving customers access to vehicle data without additional hardware.
Fleet managers can now access a broader range of vehicle data, including on driver risk, fleet costs and fuel use, through a single platform. They will benefit from the expertise and insights of a UK-based data aggregation specialist, alongside real-time OEM data.
TDS Ultra serves large enterprise fleets and leasing companies, with a focus on fleet data management, optimisation and reporting. Its platform helps finance and operational teams, as well as drivers, to identify opportunities to reduce risk, costs and emissions.
Together, the Group now manages more than 850,000 vehicle connections, establishing it as a European leader in connected fleet management.
"TDS Ultra turns fragmented fleet data into actionable insights, whatever the source. Being agnostic, across OEMs, hardware and data providers, is the hallmark of our Group. Together with Echoes, we're building harmonised, AI-driven insights that help the largest European fleets protect their assets and improve their operations." Mathieu Chènebit, chief executive officer of the Moving Intelligence Group.
"The need for real intelligence, independent of how the data is delivered, was why we started TDS Ultra. The company will be more future proofed as part of the Moving Intelligence Group." Chris Stone, founder of TDS Ultra.
"Our team is excited to join forces with a European business with proven technology expertise. This will enhance what we have already created and help new and existing customers continue to make sense of their fleets and people, through better insights from driver and vehicle data." Paul Railston, managing director of TDS Ultra.
The Moving Intelligence Group has grown its connected vehicle business through a series of acquisitions and partnerships, joining forces with Echoes in 2024 to bring OEM vehicle data into its portfolio. Through its combined offering, the Group provides fleet intelligence, protection and operational services to lease and rental companies, any size operational vehicle fleet, and dealerships.
